Songs from a life
fully lived
Three albums. Fourteen years of writing. Two voices from Glasgow.
Pete Lamb has been singing since Motown was on the radio and writing since the stories got too big to keep to himself. Together with Matt Morrow — guitarist, vocalist, and co-writer — Cousti makes Americana music rooted in real life. The kind of songs that don’t date because they were never chasing a trend.
“Great songs well played and sung, what more could you ask for?”
“Age means nothing when the songs are absolute top drawer quality”

Pete Lamb grew up in Govan, Glasgow — raised on Tamla Motown and the blues, shaped later by the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, CSNY and the songs of Marty Balin. Matt Morrow brings country guitar, lead and backing vocals, and occasional mouth organ to a partnership that has now spanned fourteen years and three albums.
Cousti isn’t trying to sound like anyone. It sounds like them.
